A co-production between Canadian filmmakers Astron-6 and New York-based Troma Entertainment, Father’s Day is an exciting new film that will be smashing into theaters very soon. The film’s trailer seems like a 70′s grindhouse film gone amok.
Smiling Peanut created a website that takes you into the world of Father’s Day and the characters that dwell within. Using purely HTML5 for the first time, the website provided a unique challenge for Smiling Peanut, but the risk paid off since the site is fully accessible on all modern desktop browsers without the need for plug-ins such as Flash, which also means that the site can be viewed on all modern smartphone platforms as well without sacrificing the experience.
It was a pleasure to collaborate on this unique project with Astron-6 and Troma and we look forward to seeing Father’s Day destroy the senses of filmgoers everywhere.
